Desktop at home likely had a priority of 0 or 1 while in idle mode. I'd expected to get the messages on both cell phone and get home and see them on my desktop client.

[05:28:11] <Psi-Jack> Hmm.. Wierd... I was curiously checking out ejabberd and openfire with carbon copies, and it seems to not work how I'd hope at all. When I send a message, the carbon copies go out to the other clients, but the reply from the user only comes back to one.

[05:33:47] <Psi-Jack> Further testing. When Monal-iPad sends a message to otheruser, Monal-iPhone does not get it, but Gajim does. Likewise for Monal-iPhone sending a message, Monal-iPad doesn't receive the message, but Gajim does.

[13:40:48] <vingausaid> Swift uses system certificate store so it should validate Let's encrypt just fine (it worked for me with conversations.im on Windows), that's nice because one can use client  certificates stored on a smartcard. Unfortunately Swift does not support OMEMO and has some other minor issues. Gajim currently is the most prominent desktop client IMHO.
