so I didn’t ask for it to be installed in Debian 12 (the 13th version was indicated above as incorrectly) these are dependencies, I didn’t select them, there were no new settings in the ejabber configuration either, I just updated ejabberd

I connected to Conversation using the QR code and registered an account (I entered the captcha, which I should probably disable). Everything went perfectly, I really liked it. After clicking the link, it opened in the browser at https://invites.joinjabber.org/, but I still couldn't access Gajim. It selects it, but it doesn't open. Perhaps there's something wrong with the Linux Manjaro system, but links opened fine before. I still like the technology, thanks to everyone who contributed to its creation!

ok so it turns out i do need to have mod_register set up for that kinda stuff. so now that i successfully enabled mod_register and everything i get the extra Create Account command, so Invite User is a roster add invite while Create Account is a... create account invite. neat.
